 | I was raised by avid Do-It-Yourself/Entrepreneurs who felt that to get anywhere in life you have to believe in what you are doing and give it 100%. My first taste of creativity was when I was around 11 years old, my father decided he wanted to set up a furniture stripping business out of our garage. It was love at first smell. I was in awe of the possibilities of what we could find as well as what we could do. There was no looking back.
From stripping furniture to flipping pizza dough and everything in-between, my parents gave me a good base in the business world, as well as a keen eye for finding that, ‘diamond in the rough.
My husband and I have bought and renovated commercial and residential properties. I was surprised on how much I learned about DIYing by trying to work inside a renovation budget.

 | Let me tell you a bit about myself. I was raised by 2 very creative parents. A mother who was very organized and taught me to sew well enough to make my own clothes, create my own designs and have full-time employment in this field. A father who loved building, fixing, restoring...you name it. At a very early age I was constantly moving my furniture, re-arranging my space to create personal spaces. Always a project on the go for me or someone else, painting and re-purposing furniture and other interesting pieces I discover in my travels. Still doing it today and constantly discovering new ideas. Always a firm believer that when you enjoy what you are doing, it ceases to be work. I have taken courses that have greatly helped develop my natural talent in this area. I am very excited about having the opportunity to answer your space planning, design and decorating questions with the goal of maximizing the potential of your personal living space.
